Board Spotlight – Meet Harish

  • Came to U.S. for Graduate studies from India fifty years agoharish  
  • Worked at AT&T Bell Labs in Atlanta in the field of Optical Fiber Reliability for 26 years 
  • Taught MBA and DBA at Argosy University for 16 years
  • Our daughter Priya encouraged us to move to Louisville and introduced us to DSL
  • After visiting DSL, we were convinced that this was the best move for our son Ankur
  • Joined DSL Board in 2018 and has been tutoring since then
  • Served as Mentor for Ankur for his College Connections program at JCTC
  • Serve as Volunteer teacher at Hindu School of Kentucky

Sushma, Ankur and Ranisahima

  • My wife Sushma loves tutoring Rosie at DSL
  • In 2021, Ankur graduated from the DSL College Connections program at JCTC and SOKY Athlete Leadership Program
  • Our granddaughter Rani lives two houses down on our street

 

 

 

Priya, Matt, and Rani

  • Ankur’s younger sister Priya serves on the Board of Special Olympics, Kentucky(SOKY)priya
  • Our son-in-law Matt and Priya serve as Clinical Directors for  MedFest, Special Olympics Kentucky.
  • Rani will turn two at the end of February 2022
