We are incredibly proud to celebrate Shelly Durbin, Director of Waiver Services and Adult Programs at Down Syndrome of Louisville, who was recently nominated by Andy Beshear to serve on a first-of-its-kind state council focused on advancing services and supports for Kentuckians with disabilities.
Shelly’s work at DSL has long been rooted in advocacy, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to ensuring adults with Down syndrome have access to meaningful opportunities and quality supports. This nomination is a powerful reflection of the expertise, compassion, and voice she brings to the table not only for our organization, but for families across the Commonwealth.
We are grateful to see Shelly’s leadership recognized at the state level and excited for the impact she will continue to make in this new role. Please join us in congratulating Shelly on this well deserved honor and thanking her for the tireless work she does every day on behalf of our community.
