"When we found out our son had Down syndrome, it was an emotional rollercoaster. We had no idea what DS would mean for our son and family. Thankfully, from the moment we reached out to DSL, we felt some relief. We now had a group of people who would be with us every step of the way." - Caroline, Mom

Meet Emily!

Cheers to Emily C Bush. She is a twenty two year old young lady who enjoys life to it’s fullest! She bowls. She dances. She plays basketball and softball. She is an amazing singer and performer. If her and Adele were in the same room you couldn’t tell them apart! She is a mentor for the Y. E. S. Group and a proud member of the BOOGIE DOWN CREW!
But mostly she is our hero. Two open heart surgeries, Fifteen sets of ear tubes and countless other obstacles have never slowed her down. We love you Emily❤️
Happy Down syndrome awareness month!
