"What is Young Athletes? Special Olympics Young Athletes is a sport and play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities (ID), age 2 to 7 years old.
Young Athletes introduces basic sports skills, like running, kicking, and throwing. Young Athletes offers families, teachers, caregivers, and people from the community a chance to share the joy of sports with all children. Children of all abilities can take part, and benefit. The Young Athletes Festival will be a showcase of various activities within the Young Athletes Program.
The Young Athletes Festival will have various activity stations including Running Throwing Kicking Sports skills & more!
The festival will also include event t-shirts, giveaways, and family/teacher resources *as supplies last*
