Welcome Sydney and Carrie!

DSL’s new Preschool is up and running thanks to our new team members!

“My name is Sydney Bastin and I am so excited to lead the new DSL preschool program!

With a bachelor’s in health science from Spalding University, and experience at several nonprofits in the area including Sproutlings Pediatric Daycare and Home of the Innocents, I am happy to now get back into the classroom with some new friends at DSL!

Currently, I don’t have much free time as I am about to get married in October!.. but, when I do find some time, I enjoy crocheting and listening to true crime podcasts! ”

“Hi, I’m Carrie. I went to school for Special Education and fell in love with the community I was serving. It has always been a goal of mine to work with Down Syndrome of Louisville because of its amazing reputation and awesome members. I am excited and incredibly grateful to be part of the preschool program.

In my spare time, I love singing, crafting, and spending with my family. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters and enjoy making as many memories as we can together. ”
