Bike Camp

This program aims to teach children and adults with Down syndrome how to ride a bike using a variety of teaching methods, games, and bike modifications. The program is led by occupational therapists from Associates in Pediatric Therapy and DSL staff who have an understanding of skill development and the challenges facing individuals who have trouble learning to ride.

Spring Bike Camp

Where: DSL KY Campus
Ages: School Age K and up

Each child will receive a 45-minute therapy session each week focusing on bike-riding skills. Bikes of various sizes and skill levels will be utilized or families can bring their own bicycles. A parent or caregiver is required to attend each session to receive strategies for home practice.

Cost: $100 for the four 45-minute sessions. You can pay by check at the first session.

We usually have 8 spots, and they will be granted in the order in which the completed enrollments are received.

Indiana Bike Camps

The Southern Indiana Bike camps are a one-week, one-hour-a-day intensive camp for members ages 4 and up.  More information on the next Bike Camp coming soon!
