Bike Camp

This program aims to teach children and adults with Down syndrome how to ride a bike using various teaching methods, games, and bike modifications.

The program is led by Down Syndrome of Louisville’s Occupational Therapists Megan Mullins who understands skill development and the challenges facing individuals who have trouble learning to ride.

Spring Bike Camp

Saturdays in April

We have four slots available for the Spring 25′ Bike Camp and each child will receive a 45-minute therapy session each week focusing on bike-riding skills.

Bike Camp does cost $100 for the four Saturday sessions in April (5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th)

Bike Camp is intended for DSL members four and older.

It is recommended that families bring their members’ bicycles, but accommodations can be made if given notice.

A parent or caregiver is required to attend each session to receive strategies for home practice.

We have four slots available for the Spring 2025 Camp.

Bike Camp is rain or shine as members will ride in the halls of DSL if necessary.

Bike Camp is set to return in the Fall of 2025 as well, dates TBD

Indiana Bike Camps

The Southern Indiana Bike camps are traditionally a one-week, one-hour-a-day intensive camp for members ages 4 and up.
