Welcome to Down Syndrome of Louisville’s (DSL) Preschool Program!

DSL’s preschool program offers part-time preschool experience for three- to five-year-old children with a diagnosis of Down syndrome (Ds). Our program is designed to meet the unique learning styles of our members using research-based instructional strategies for young children with DS. Learning opportunities will be embedded in developmentally appropriate, adult-guided, play-based activities. Our classroom environment, schedule, materials, and teaching methods are tailored to address the developmental needs of preschool-age children with DS, with the goal of establishing the foundations for learning and helping prepare them to be a successful Kindergarten student.
