DS Awareness Month Spotlight – Meet Madison!

Although we are in full #KindnessWarriorWalk2021 mode we have to take a minute to recognize today is the first day of Down Syndrome Awareness Month! All month long we’ll be spotlighting and celebrating amazing members of our community who are rockin’ an extra chromie!

This is Madison! She had a heart transplant at 7 months old. She’s sassy, sweet, and feisty! Her new skill is waving “hi” and “bye.” She’s a momma’s girl, but had plenty of times where she’s all about daddy! She will be 2 in early November! She adores her big brother, Parker. He hung the moon and stars to her! We love DSL for all the activities we are able to do with our new friends. Also for educating people about how down right perfect people with DS are!!
