Ingredients & Supplies
2 ripe bananas
1 cup of oats
1/4 cup chocolate chips
cinnamon to taste
parchment paper or non-stick spray
baking sheet
Instructions
Start by gathering your ingredients and preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or coat with non-stick spray.
Peel both bananas and drop into a large bowl. Using a fork mash the bananas until they are fully runny. There should be no “mush” left!
Tip: You can also use a potato masher for an even faster mash!
Once banana is fully mashed, stir in oats. Make sure oats are fully coated in banana mixture before moving on.
Tip: Rolled oats, rather than instant oats, work best for recipe, holding everything together and giving each cookie a more hearty filling taste!
Stir in the chocolate chips and add cinnamon to taste.
Tip: Mix seems a little thick? Stir the chocolate chips in with your hands to make sure everything is well combined!
Scoop tablespoon sized cookies onto your greased pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Tip: Don’t smush or flatten your banana bites out! The shape will not hold and you’ll end up with granola!
Let those cookies cool and enjoy them all week long (if they last that long)!
Helpful Hint: Store in the fridge in an airtight container for best keep.
