We LOVE our volunteers: Meet Mr. Bud!

Our next featured #kindnesswarrior is Volunteer Bud Newman!! Lovingly known as “Mr. Bud” around here, he is the loyal and dependable front desk receptionist at DSL on Mondays. He utilizes his professional communication skills to assist our members and our guests in navigating their way at the Down Syndrome of Louisville Lifelong Learning Center. Bud has created friendly relationships with our members and always knows just the right thing to say to start their day on a positive note. We all enjoy Bud’s quick wit and humor!

Mr. Bud also manages our busy incoming phone calls. He is a wealth of knowledge and always connects the caller to the correct resource or DSL staff member. He also supports the office staff with data entry and other clerical projects.

We are so thankful for Mr. Bud!!! #volunteerappreciationmonth #thankyou #compassioncity #kindnesswarrior
