WDSD Spotlight – Meet Sammy

My name is Sammy. If you ask me my name, I’ll tell you “eee” because it’s hard for me to make all my letter sounds. But don’t let my difficulty communicating fool you. I understand almost everything you say to me and am trying to tell you more than I am able. I have lots of friends and probably want to be yours too. I’m 12 years old. I love going to school and church, playing with my Nerf Blasters (mostly for hunting zombies, of course), singing in the car on the way to everywhere, swimming–especially in the deep water, giving hugs, riding the go-cart for miles, and miles and miles, helping my papaw take care of his animals, and goofing off with my little brother. My favorite holiday is Halloween, and I like all things spooky. I play Special Olympics Basketball and Miracle League Baseball.
