French Toast Muffins- Virtual Cooking Class

French Toast Muffins

DSL Chef Level: Easy (oven)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg or cinnamon
  • 8 Cups of cubed white bread
  • sliced almonds (optional)
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • Powdered sugar, for serving
  • Cooking spray

Directions:

  1. Wash your hands!
  2. Preheat the oven to 350
  3. Coat a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray
  4. In a big bowl whisk milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg or cinnamon
  5. add 8 cups of cubed white bread to soak
  6. Have a 10 minute dance party while your bread soaks!
  7. Spoon bread mixture into the muffin cups, sprinkle with almonds (if you like them!)
  8. Bake until set, about 25 minutes
  9. Serve with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar
