Down Syndrome of Louisville Awarded $2,500 by the Snowy Owl Foundation

Down Syndrome of Louisville (DSL)  is honored to be a recipient of a grant from the Snowy Owl Foundation. The partnership with the Snowy Owl Foundation will allow Down Syndrome of Louisville to provide Early Childhood Intervention to children between the ages of 0-5.

DSL has been providing early childhood education services for more than 37 years and has a proven track record of the program’s success.  Through play based interactions and environmental modifications DSL promotes learning of all life skills including: cognition, language and communication, social-emotional functioning, gross and fine motor skills as well as self-help skills.

“We are thankful to have partners in our community that align with our cause and support our mission of supporting, educating, and advocating for individuals with Down syndrome” said Development Director, Nicole Volz.
