Big Mac Sliders- Virtual Cooking Class

Sliders

DSL Chef Level- Medium (Stove, Oven)

Makes 12 sliders

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 pound of ground beef or turkey
  • 12 slider buns (most come in packs of 6)
  • American cheese (about 6 slices)
  • Pickles
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Sesame seeds

For the Mac Sauce:

  • 2 (large) tablespoons mayo
  • Squeeze of mustard
  • Squeeze of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of dill relish
  • Seasoned Salt

Directions:

  1. Wash your hands!
  2. Preheat oven to 350
  3. Make the Mac Sauce put add these to a bowl:
    • Mayo
    • Mustard
    • Ketchup
    • Relish
    • Seasoned salt (or salt and pepper)
  4. Stir your sauce until it is mixed well. Put it to the side.
  5. Chop up your onion
  6. Put meat into pan on medium heat, get it chopped up in the pan
  7. Add the onions to the pan with the meat
  8. Once your meat and onions are cooked, drain them and put it to the side (don’t forget that it’s hot!)
  9. Get a 9×13 pan an put the bottoms of your slider buns in the pan
  10. Spread mac sauce on the buns
  11. Add meat mixture to the buns- get it all the way to the edges!
  12. Add cheese
  13. Add pickles
  14. Put the slider tops on and brush with melted butter
  15. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  16. Cover in foil and bake for 25 minutes
  17. Let cool a bit and then serve with your extra mac sauce!
  18. Enjoy!
