Corey Competes in Triathlon

Congrats to Corey Morgan, who recently completed his first Triathlon race after 5 months of training! Corey was inspired by Chris Nikic, the first individual with Down syndrome to complete an ironman triathlon, and has worked so hard to get to this place.

Corey completed the Ironcology Team Triathlon race in Versailles, Kentucky. This race, which builds on the full-distance triathlon (sometimes referred to as an ironman), consists of a 2.4-mile swim, 120 miles biking, and 26.2 miles running, complete with athlete exchanges where team members are required to complete at least one lap of the swim, bike, or run portion of the race. We are so proud of Corey for working hard to achieve his goal! Way to go!
