Pop-up Programming
As part of our mission to better support, educate, and advocate, we are launching DSL Pop-Up Programming in order to serve those areas that are not as close to our main campus. Early Childhood Education and School-Age programming are coming to a location near YOU!
You can see all of our program categories here. We also have many additional Family Support Services in addition to these programs. Our Lifelong Learning Model shows many of the programs and services that we offer throughout the lifespan in one quick glance.

Questions?
Ask DSL’s School Age Manager Susan Teaford!
What is Early Ed Play Group?
Join Developmental Interventionists, Dawn Guy or Dr. Jenny Kimes, for extended weekend learning! Early Ed Group Class, intended for parents and their infants or toddlers (0 – 5 years), teaches important “first step” skills enabling participants to reach developmental milestones important to their age group. Includes structured playtime, group activities, song time, and more!
What is Saturday School?
Saturday School (grades K-8), continued weekend learning that’s FUN! Saturday School seeks to facilitate growth in social and communication skills and enhance core academic skills in the areas of reading, math, and handwriting. Additionally, fine motor and self-help skills are addressed through science, art, and physical activities. Participants are grouped with similar-age peers for personal and engaging activities. *Spots are limited & classes will be capped at 10.*
Pop-Up Programming Success
With the generous support of the NASCAR Foundation, Down Syndrome of Louisville began providing Pop-Up Programming in areas around Louisville in February and it has been a positive experience for all involved. Many of our members cannot make it to our campus for classes due to distance- but they have welcomed having opportunities that they can attend close to home!
