Chicken Divan- Virtual Cooking Class

Chicken Divan

DSL Chef Level: Intermediate (stove)

Ingredients:

  • 3 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded (canned is fine!)
  • 2 bags of frozen broccoli (fresh is fine!)
  • 8oz chicken broth 
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • Shredded cheese
  • ⅔ cup mayo 
  • ½ stick butter
  • Box of stovetop savory herb stuffing

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 
  2. Shred chicken and set aside 
  3. Heat broccoli in microwave according to directions on bag (if fresh broccoli, add some water to a bowl and microwave for a few minutes) 
  4. In a 9×13 pan, place broccoli on the bottom and top with the shredded chicken
  5. Mix together broth, cream of chicken, mayo, and cheese and pour on top of the chicken
  6. Melt the butter and mix with the stovetop stuffing
  7. Put the stuffing/butter mixture on top of the soup mixture in the pan
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes
  9. Remove foil and bake for additional 15 minutes
