Pre-ETS is a program for high school students (ages 14-21) to prepare them for the public world beyond high school, most notably the workplace and post-secondary education. This program is run at no cost to the family, and is aimed at providing practical training for our high school students to learn to become competent students and workers.
Our time with the members before they enter college or the workplace allows us to develop relationships with the members and identify areas of development before they graduate. The classes are dynamic and differentiated, with an emphasis on active engagement, skill development, and outings in the community.
Our curriculum involves:
1. Workplace Readiness Training
2. Self Advocacy Instruction
3. Post Secondary Counseling
4. Job Exploration Counseling
5. Work-Based Learning Instruction
