Academic Tutoring

One-On-One Academic Tutoring and/or Mentoring
(For Members Post-High School)

One on One academic tutoring provides ongoing learning opportunities to our members after high-school graduation. Upon enrollment the student is assessed, objectives are established, and a trained volunteer tutor is matched with the student. Participants then meet together weekly for an hour to work on activities using resources that have been chosen based on the student’s unique interests and ability.

The benefits of academic tutoring do not stop with academic goals. Most students enjoy the social interaction with another adult and so communication skills and friendships tend to grow during this time as well.

There is no fee for this program.
